ICET

ICET stands for Integrated Common Entrance Test. ICET is the Common Entrance Examination for admissions to Master of Computer Application (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) by following Universities in Andhra Pradesh.

• Andhra University
• Dr. B R Ambedkar Open University.
• JNT University.
• Kakatiya University.
• Nagarjuna University (Including Center for Distance Education).
• Osmania University.
• SK University
• SV University
• Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswavidyalayam, Tirupati
• NIT Warangal (for MCA Only)

ICET is conducted by any one University in Andhra Pradesh. Generally the chance of conducting ICET Examination will be given on a rotation basis by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. ICET 2005 is conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal, ICET 2004 & ICET 2003 are conducted by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati ICET 2002 is conducted by Osmania University, on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE).


PATTERN

The test is designed to measured the candidates ability to think systematically, to employ the verbal and mathematical skills and to assess his/her aptitude for admission into MBA/MCA programme

This is an objective type test. Questions are of multiple choice, Out of the given multiple options, the candidate has to choose the correct answer. The Candidate shall not give more than one answer to any question. Such answers will be ignored while awarding marks.
